I purchased a Superior Park Model Home in 2007 with the Log siding look. I am very disappointed with the material used as siding. They used regular yellow pine ( unbelievable) and applied a wood sealer to it. I was always under the impression it was cedar so as you can imagine any seam that allowed water in,causes the siding to rot. Even though the wood was resealed a year ago, this did not help. So in 4 years the house is already in need of siding repairs. Be careful when purchasing these homes with wood siding. At this point I am not sure what to replace it with.

Looks interesting, it seems like this market will only expand, with the high levels of displaced family's these days, seems like there will be a demand for higher quality mobile's, although i think these are classified as an RV.
Did you get any prices for these?
I wonder what long distance transport would cost.
