Dan Louche at Tiny Home Builders has been building another tiny house and at the same time recording the process. His new instructional video series is now available at his website. These are step-by-step videos that walk you through the process of building a tiny house on a trailer. Dan says:
“The library is currently has 22 videos and over 3 hours of footage. I expect this series will grow to about 40 videos in the next 6 weeks. The price for access to the library ranges depending on the bundle that the customer selects, but the base price is around $269 with discounts provided if purchased with plans.”
Dan also allowed me to preview the videos, and they are extremely well done and professional. Dan is very clear in his explanations, the audio and video quality is very high. Each video focuses on a specific topic and he walks you through each step.
Dan’s videos are like having your own private workshop with the added benefit that you can watch each step over and over again until you understand the concept and than go put it into practice. Dan is well known for his Tiny House Construction Guide and tiny house plans. At this time he has three designs available.

If any of you are really looking to save money and are planning to build it yourself, research the building videos on utube and buy a book on home building at a building supply store. Attaching the deck to the trailer is the main difference in building the home. Adding some bracing, some minor electrical and plumbing can all be viewed at various web sites linked to this one.
