Angelica and her fiance Nic have recently decided to build their own tiny home, they have also decided that by helping someone else build theirs first it would give them an opportunity to prep for the real test, building their own.
Angelica and Nic would like to help someone build their tiny home and are willing to help for FREE. They live in New York City and would be willing to travel a ways to gain the experience. Nic has a lot of experience in carpentry and Angelica was previously an architecture student with experience using heavy duty machinery. They could start as early as this weekend.

We live in Shasat and are considering putting up a yurt. I wonder if you are going to permit yours and if so how difficult or easy it is in this county? Thanks for the info- I’d also love to know what company you went with for your yurt!
I was interested in the Yurt home also, have you looked into the permit process? Would you be willing to share your information and the location of where you are building I would love to see it if you don’t mind and also if you have found out what the permit requirements are I know that what ever I do I will have to have a 80lb snow load

This is a great opportunity for those wanting to build their own tiny house. The free labor would make the house build much more quickly and easily than doing it yourself. At the same time, Nic and Angelica would gain a lot of experience for building their own too. With so many people out there wanting to build tiny homes, I hope someone takes advantage of their offer soon.

Im returning to my own project near Boone, NC in a few weeks to put a roof on my 32’x 32′ structure, I would LOVE to have that sort of offer to help! I was trying to do it by myself last summer, I fell off the ladder (well, we both fell) and shattered my leg, Im healing up,and going back this time and am getting it done!! All you do it yourself folks, please be VERY careful on even the smallest ladders, they are killers! (almost in my case anyway)

What a great idea! I live near the east coast and want to build a tiny house of my own as well. Unfortunately I won’t be able to build for at least a year, so if you still need the experience a year from now let me know!
Oh, this is exactly what I need. I am an older woman and I want (need) a tiny natural house to live in, but am unable to do the heavy work. Hi, i am looking for some more info and incite about how to get a tiny house built. I am currently excepting my first child and in desperate need of housing. I’ve fell on some hard times and trying to plan for a stable future for my little one. I will be a single parent and initially will be on a tight budget. I am inspired by the idea of the tiny house but obviously need it to be a conducive living arrangement for a child. I am on disability, and after all of my utilities and bills are paid I am stuck with little to no cash to get things done. I wish that there was someone who could help me get my home finished. I’ve bought a double lofted barn shed to use as a foundation. It is 30 X 12 and has a nice little Porch, I just don’t have the money to finish the project. Because I live on the back of my in-laws property, My husband and I have been living in it as is.I have asthma and the house still needs to be insolate among other things.
