A Home For The Alcorn’s

As most of you know I’m very hesitant and cautious about promoting Go Fund Me projects and this type of way to raise a money for a tiny house. I feel a person should plan, save and get out of debt etc. to make this happen for oneself.

Every now and then though what I feel is truly a worthy cause comes along and I share it here on the Tiny House Blog. This is one of them and as usual no pressure. Just know that I am donating to it and you can to if you choose. Here are a little of the details and then you can click through and learn everything through the link below. Thanks for your help and consideration!

Some of you already know Bobby and Angie through their website Tiny House America or their full time commitment to the National Tiny House Jamboree . For almost two years Bobby and Angie have dedicated their lives to supporting and educating others seeking a simple tiny life. Despite the multitude of obstacles the Alcorn family has faced, they have persevered and kept their focus on family, simplicity, happiness and community. This family of four is loved by so many and now they’re in need of our help.

The Alcorn’s story told by a long time friend…

  1. Kent,

I have never been at such a loss for words as I am right now. Thank you so much for your support and your donation in helping us. Even though our circumstances have not turned out as we had hoped, God has blessed us in more ways than we ever could have imagined. The friendships we have made through the Tiny house community

  2. Kent,

Bobby, Gillian, Callie and myself want to personally thank you for your donation and for sharing our campaign. We feel so blessed to have you and all of our tiny house friends in our life. We are firm believers that everything in life has a reason and a purpose.
