Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the new section of the Tiny House Blog. The Tiny House Gallery has been added and features the tiny houses written about in the blog.
Simply click on a picture of a house you like and it will take you to the post with more information.
This is an ongoing project and houses will be added on a continual basis.
In the last post “Steph’s Tiny Floating Cottage“ I introduced you to the idea of tiny floating homes. In this post I would like to expand on that thought a bit and show you a few of the options and resources available to you.
In a recent post onPark Model Homes we looked at this solution for a place on land. Another use for Park Model Homes are floating homes, and several resort areas across the U.S. and elsewhere are installing these modern trailers onto rafts and selling them as vacation homes or full time residences. Pictured below is one of these examples.
There are many options and resources on the web if you are interested in learning more about floating home living. I have listed a couple below:
Tumbleweed
Tiny House Company,
founded by Jay Shafer, is widely regarded as one of the premier tiny house
builders. They also offer books, house plans, and workshops.
Tiny
House Books are a good place to start learning about
tiny house living and design.
